Coronavirus vaccine offers
a ‘sense of hope’
to The Burlington Care Home

26th January 2021 was a momentous day at The Burlington. We are delighted to share with you that all our residents received their first AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccination, as we vaccinated 90 residents and staff. A huge thanks to James, our wonderful paramedic who worked tirelessly administering the vaccine for us and to Andrea Abbott at NHS Surrey Heartlands CCG for her support. A big well done to The Burlington team for ensuring everything was done smoothly, safely and swiftly! Richard (below) was our first resident to receive the vaccine! It was big smiles all round. This has been an important step in helping us to get through this very difficult time and start planning to return to our normal happy life.
