Musical Movement

Today the residents really enjoyed the musical movement session; even some of our residents who usually enjoy their own company got involved! One of our residents, photographer Marc de Henrie, displayed some of his amazing pieces of work which helped stimulate our residents memories! New resident Pauline was helping out all around the home today, including with the washing up and even helping at reception as she waited for her husband to arrive, as he is also moving in today with us. It was lovely for her to be able to get involved and do some of the tasks she used to enjoy at home. Pauline was a nurse and enjoys folding napkins, checking beds are made properly (hospital corners!) and helping to lay the Dining Room tables.

Respite resident Harold Snoad produced TV programmes including “Dad’s Army” and
“Keeping up Appearances” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_Snoad and was also
British TV Academy Award nominee
