Boutique Care Homes Celebrates Double Nominations at Kent Care Awards 2025
We are proud to share that Boutique Care Homes has been nominated for not one but two prestigious awards at the KICA Kent Care Awards 2025. These awards shine a spotlight on the exceptional teams making a real impact across the Kent care sector, and we are thrilled to be recognised among them!
We are proud to share that Chartwell House by Boutique Care Homes has received nominations in two key categories:
- Diane, Home Manager – Recruitment and Retention
- Jude, Admissions Manager – Dementia Champion
These nominations reflect our team’s dedication, commitment, and passion shown each day in the care sector. From championing person-centred dementia care to nurturing a supportive and engaged workforce, the team at Chartwell House continually raises the standard of care.
The Dementia Champion nomination reflects Chartwell House’s commitment to high-quality dementia care and championing a dementia-friendly community by helping people living with dementia across the wider Kent community to come together. Our Admissions Manager, Jude Coveney, has been the driving force for introducing the Dementia Friendly Folk, founded during Broadstairs Folk Week 2023, an initiative that brings people living with dementia together through creative and supportive events.
Her work also includes delivering the Dementia Friends Information Sessions at local schools, hosting a monthly Nostalgia Café at Chartwell House, as well as playing an instrumental role of the Thanet Dementia Action Alliance, helping to shape a more inclusive understanding of dementia across the Kent community.
“We are proud to be acknowledged in categories that reflect our core values,” said Ameet Kotecha, Founder and Managing Director of Boutique Care Homes. “Putting people first, celebrating individuality, and building a workplace where staff feel valued and empowered. The Recruitment and Retention speaks to the culture of commitment and consistency that we hard to foster, and the Dementia Champion nomination highlights our compassionate approach for people living with dementia.”
Congratulations to the team at Chartwell House, your unwavering efforts are helping to shape a future where care is not only exceptional but deeply human. We look forward to celebrating with other inspiring nominees at this year’s awards.
