Summer is in full bloom, and so is the latest edition of The Brampton Post—celebrating community, connection, and recognition at Brampton Manor.

This edition proudly highlights Brampton Manor being named one of the Top 5 care homes in the UK by the newly launched Lottie Awards. With over 14,000 care homes reviewed across 10 data-led criteria, this national recognition reflects the care, warmth, and excellence that define life at Brampton Manor.

We also share the inspiring life story of Alan Pyke, whose journey from wartime London to a successful career in finance, family life, and global travel reminds us of the remarkable lives lived within our home. Alan’s story is a celebration of resilience, dedication, and enduring love.

Among this season’s favourite moments is the joyful gardening session with Fairstead House pupils, where laughter, conversation, and planting came together to create a truly special intergenerational experience. This event also marked Brampton Manor’s finalist position for the Intergenerational Activity Award at the 2025 Dementia Care Awards.

Plus, don’t miss the colourful Rainbow Cake recipe featured in our Bake with Brampton section—a showstopper treat that’s perfect for summer celebrations.
