Chartwell House To Unveil New Community Defibrillator
Chartwell House is delighted to announce a special event that highlights our ongoing commitment to community welfare and safety. On Tuesday, 23rd July from 2pm to 4pm, we will be unveiling our newly acquired community defibrillator, a crucial addition that enhances emergency response capabilities for our residents and neighbours alike.
Thanks to the tireless fundraising efforts of our residents, their families, and our dedicated team, along with the generous contribution from the students and team of Charles Dickens School, we now have this life-saving device ready for use. This initiative underscores our belief in the power of community collaboration and our shared responsibility to support one another.
The event promises to be both informative and engaging. We are honoured to have St. John Ambulance joining us to conduct live demonstrations on how to use the defibrillator. This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to gain valuable knowledge and skills that could one day save a life.
Diane Collins, Home Manager at Chartwell House, reflects proudly on the community’s achievement: “Acquiring our community defibrillator has been a true testament to the dedication and generosity of our Chartwell House family and our wonderful neighbours. This device not only enhances safety but embodies the spirit of unity that defines our community. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who contributed to making this important initiative a reality.”
Join us for this heart-warming celebration of community spirit! The unveiling ceremony will be a moment to express our gratitude to all who contributed and to reinforce our commitment to enhancing health and safety in our neighbourhood. Light refreshments will be served, providing a wonderful chance to mingle with fellow community members and strengthen our bonds.
We look forward to welcoming you to Chartwell House Care Home for this significant event. Your presence will not only show support for this vital initiative but also help us celebrate the collective effort that made it possible.
