Chartwell House to Dementia Focused Open Day.

Boutique Care Homes’ brand-new luxury care home, Chartwell House, is hosting a special open day on Friday May 26th which will feature two Dementia Friends Information Sessions.

With stunning interiors and passionate team, Chartwell House is inviting those considering care for their loved one to take a tour of the home, meet the team and experience life at Broadstairs’ first luxury care home.

The Open House will take place from 10am-4pm and alongside tours of the home, will feature two Dementia Friends Information Sessions commencing at 11am and 2pm.

Tours of the home will be conducted by our friendly team and knowledgeable Admissions Manager, Jude Coveney, who is excited to welcoming visitors to the home:

“Attending this Open House is a great opportunity to experience the delights that Chartwell House has to offer. Whether you are at the start of your care journey or in need of more urgent support, the team and I will be available to answer your questions and discuss how we might be able to support you now or in the future.”

Dementia Friends Ambassador, Carl Roberts, who will be leading the two information sessions explained what attendees can expect from the sessions:

""At a Dementia Friends Information Session, attendees can expect to learn about what dementia is, how it affects people, and the small things they can do to make a difference for those living with dementia in their communities. Through interactive discussions and engaging activities, attendees will gain a better understanding of how to be more compassionate and supportive towards people living with dementia, and how to create dementia-friendly communities."
