Boutique Care Homes Named Finalist in Two Categories at Health Investor Awards 2026

Defending champions return as double finalists, recognised for both care excellence and sustainable property development

Boutique Care Homes has been announced as a finalist in two categories at the Health Investor Awards 2026: Residential Elderly Care Provider of the Year – Small Group and Property Developer of the Year.

The care provider won the Residential Elderly Care Provider of the Year – Small Group category in 2025 and returns as a finalist in 2026. The additional nomination for Property Developer of the Year recognises Boutique’s ambitious development pipeline, with four new care homes due to open by 2028.

Boutique Care Homes currently operates four homes across Southeast England: The Burlington in Shepperton, Brampton Manor in Newmarket, Chartwell House in Broadstairs, and Keymer Hall in Burgess Hill, which opened in December 2025.

Ameet Kotecha, Managing Director of Boutique Care Homes, said: “To be shortlisted in two categories is a tremendous honour. We won Residential Elderly Care Provider of the Year – Small Group in 2025, and being recognised again shows the consistency our teams deliver every single day. Our residents and their families remain at the heart of everything we do, and this recognition belongs to them and to our incredible team members who make Boutique what it is.”

The company has achieved exceptional resident satisfaction, with 98% of residents and families confirming in its 2025 annual survey that care met or exceeded their expectations. All four homes hold CQC Good ratings across all areas, with The Burlington achieving Outstanding for Responsive care. The Burlington and Chartwell House both maintain perfect 10/10 ratings on carehome.co.uk, while Brampton Manor holds 9.9/10.

The Property Developer of the Year nomination reflects Boutique’s position as a developer-operator, with sustainability embedded across all new developments. Every pipeline home features solar panels, BREEAM Very Good certification, and operator-focused design improvements.

Tom Duck, Development Director, said: “This nomination recognises our commitment to creating homes that genuinely enhance resident wellbeing and support our care teams. We’re not typical property developers, we operate every home we build, so every design decision is tested against one question: will this make life better? From Martello Manor opening this summer to our first fully electric home in Maidenhead, we’re building the future of care with sustainability and quality at the core.”

The company was also named Care Home Group of the Year – Small Group at the National Care Awards 2025 and has been recognised as a Top 20 UK Small Care Home Group in 2024, 2025 and 2026.

The Health Investor Awards celebrate excellence across the healthcare and care home sector. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony later in 2026.

Because that’s who we are. That’s what we do. And that’s what drives us forward.
