At Townsend Chase we don’t just care for, support and encourage your loved one, we also extend our renowned hospitality to your friends and relatives with regular social events in the Piano Bar and Bistro, intimate gatherings in the private dining room and an open invitation to all community events.
Bistro
The Bistro is where our residents can stop for a chat, read the papers, and enjoy a tea or coffee. It’s also the perfect place for a bite to eat when you visit.
Ensuite Bedrooms
Residents’ bedrooms are beautifully decorated with quality furnishings. There’s storage for personal possessions and some ground floor rooms have a patio or terrace. We also know privacy is important, that’s why all our bedrooms are en-suite.
Hair & Beauty Salon
Our residents don’t need to go out to get their hair and beauty treatments. We have hairdressers, barbers, nail technicians and others who come to Townsend Chase regularly.
Hobby Room
Residents use the hobby room to take part in events and activities. We have cake decoration classes, arts and crafts days, board game sessions and plenty of other activities to keep our residents engaged and busy.
Landscaped Gardens
Townsend Chase landscape gardens are the ideal place to take a stroll or sit outside and enjoy the views. We also use our outside space for BBQs and many of our residents belong to the gardening club.
Connecting Rooms for Couples
We have interconnecting bedrooms available for couples, each with their own individual ensuite bathrooms. Interconnecting rooms offer peace of mind and comfort for couples while still having the space and privacy when required.
Woodland Grove
Townsend Chase includes a beautifully preserved woodland area, with more than 200 mature trees lining the perimeter, creating a peaceful, leafy sanctuary that feels worlds away from the everyday. Our landscaped gardens have been thoughtfully designed to make the very most of these stunning surroundings.

Stage 1 – Planning Application Granted – December 25
Securing outline planning approval is a significant milestone in the development of a new Boutique Care Home. This stage establishes the principle of the care home’s design, scale, and location, laying the foundation for the next phases of the project. With this approval in place, the team can move forward with more detailed planning, ensuring that every aspect of the home aligns with the highest standards of care, comfort, and community integration.

Stage 2 – Enabling Works: March 26 – May 26
Before construction begins, comprehensive site surveys and enabling works are undertaken to prepare the ground for development. This includes environmental assessments, ground investigations, and initial infrastructure work to ensure the site is ready for the next phase. These preparations are essential for a smooth construction process, minimising potential delays and ensuring the home’s future stability and sustainability.

Stage 3 – Planning Conditions Discharged: May 26 – Oct 26
Following receipt of planning approval, we will be commence discharging all pre-commencement planning conditions that need to be addressed to facilitate works starting on site.

With planning approvals in place, the focus shifts to finalising the interior and exterior design while securing high-quality materials and trusted contractors. Procurement is carefully managed to maintain quality and efficiency, setting the stage for the construction phase.

The construction phase brings the vision to life, transforming the carefully planned designs into a beautiful, purpose-built care home. Throughout this period, meticulous project management ensures that every stage, from foundations to final finishes, meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety. Regular site inspections and quality checks guarantee that the home will provide a comfortable, welcoming space for future residents.

Stage 6 – Care Home Opening: Summer 2028
As the final touches are completed, the new Boutique Care Home is prepared to open its doors. The home will be fully furnished, landscaped, and equipped to provide exceptional residential, dementia, and short-stay care.
