EmBrace is Back. And Summer Has Never Looked So Good.

Our Summer 2026 edition of EmBrace has arrived, and we couldn’t be more proud of what’s inside. Read it online now, or pick up a printed copy from any of our homes from Wednesday May 20th 2026.

Care starts long before the front door.

When we launched EmBrace at the start of this year, we wanted it to feel like a window into life at Boutique Care Homes. Not a brochure. Not a list of services. A real, honest look at the people, the moments and the places that make our homes what they are.

Issue Two is more of all of that. And something new too.

What’s inside the Summer 2026 edition?

  • Stories across generations – From Fred, our four-year-old Youth Ambassador at Keymer Hall, to Bishop Rose Hudson-Wilkin stopping a room in its tracks at Chartwell House, this edition is full of moments that remind you what care can really look like.
  • Life, fully lived – Residents bottle-feeding newborn lambs in Suffolk, dancing the afternoon away at Brampton Manor, boxing at The Burlington, and racing at Newmarket. Life here doesn’t slow down. It surprises you.
  • Stories that shape us – Meet Alan Gane, one of Keymer Hall’s founding residents, and Jenny Emrys-Roberts at The Burlington, whose life took her from the streets of Shanghai to Bond Street and beyond.
  • Keep Sipping, Keep Smiling – Our summer hydration guide, drawn from The Care Labs, with eight practical, gentle tips to help you support the older person in your life this summer.
  • The Castaway Playlist – A brand new feature launching in this edition. Eight songs, one story. This issue, meet Helen Lewis, Head of Lifestyle and Wellbeing at Keymer Hall.
  • Martello Manor – Our newest home in Hythe, Kent, opens this summer. Inside, you’ll meet the team and the community already gathering around it.

The Care Labs

This edition marks the first time we’ve brought The Care Labs to print. Our free digital platform for families navigating the care journey, covering dementia, funding, health, wellbeing and everything in between, is now available at www.thecarelabs.co.uk Whatever you’re navigating, you don’t have to do it alone.
