Festive Food Pantry – A Call for Christmas Donations
Chartwell House is delighted to share news of a truly heart-warming community initiative returning to Ramsgate this Christmas. The Festive Food Pantry, organised by the Parish St Laurence and Chartwell House Care Home, will once again be providing food packages to support families facing food poverty during the festive season.
Now in its fourth year, this special project made a real difference in 2024 by helping 60 families with essential supplies and festive treats. Any leftover produce will be gifted to Newington Primary School, where it will be used to prepare hot meals for families in need over the Christmas holidays. With our 600 families connected to the school requiring assistance, every contribution truly matters.
This year, we’re reaching out to our wonderful and local businesses to ask for your support. We are kindly requesting donations of Christmas food items to be included in the packages. No donation is too small — every tin, packet, and festive goodie will help bring comfort and joy to families who might otherwise go without.
