A Fang-tastic Halloween Across Boutique Care Homes
This Halloween, our four Boutique Care Homes; The Burlington, Brampton Manor, Chartwell House and Keymer Hall, were truly bewitching as residents, team members, families, and event some very special young visitors came together to celebrate in spooky style. From pumpkin carving to fancy dress, baking to dancing, and plenty of sweet treats along the way, there was laughter echoing through every corridor and smiles lighting up each home.
The Burlington: Pumpkin Magic and Party Fun
At The Burlington, the celebrations began early as residents rolled up their sleeves for some wonderfully messy pumpkin carving. Their creations ranged from spooky grins to cheeky smiles, each one lighting up the home with Autumn warmth.
The fun didn’t stop there, the residents and families came together for a frightfully fabulous Halloween party, filled with laughter, dancing, and even a few playful tricks. A special mention goes to our team members who became mummies for the day (with a little help from the residents) and to everyone who made the day so memorable.
Brampton Manor: Generations of Spooky Smiles
Over at Brampton Manor, the magic of Halloween came alive with a heart-warming visit from the children of Clip Clop Nursery, along with residents’ families and team members’ little ones. Together, they enjoyed an afternoon full of crafts, games, and giggles, a perfect reminder of how special it is when generations come together. From tiny pumpkins to big smiles, the day was bursting with fun, friendship, and just the right amount of spookiness.
Chartwell House: A Sweetly Spook-tacular Celebration
At Chartwell House, our residents got creative with pumpkin carving and a spot of seasonal baking, including a delicious homemade pumpkin pie that mysteriously vanished before anyone could get seconds.
Later, little visitors joined us for some adorable trick-or-treating around the home, sharing sweets and smiles with our residents. At Halloween quiz and a “mummy wrapping” competition (the children won that one) added even more laughter to the day. And of course, no celebration would be complete without the show-stopping spooky cakes from our talented kitchen team.
Keymer Hall: Spooky Costumes and Sweet Treats
At Keymer Hall, the Halloween spirit arrived in full force with an incredible array of costumes, cheeky tricks, and plenty of sweet treats. The home was buzzing with excitement! Everyone got involved in the fun, proving once again that Halloween is the perfect excuse to get creative and enjoy time together.
