Connect where building friendships and relationships that enhance emotional wellbeing. Also, Contribute, maintains purpose and identity through active community involvement.

Highlights of Brampton Manor’s Intergenerational Work

  • Boogie Babies with Clip Clop Nursery – A fortnightly session where nursery children and residents sing, dance, and create together. These joyful encounters rekindle fond family memories, spark laughter, and bring renewed purpose.
  • World Book Day – Pupils from Fairstead House School joined residents, including those from the Nostalgia Community, for a day of reading, reminiscence, and storytelling. Residents even gifted books to pupils, creating treasured memories across generations.
  • Gardening Together – As part of the National Garden Trust Scheme, residents and pupils planted and cared for Brampton’s gardens, exchanging seeds, skills, and stories. This simple act of nurturing plants became a living symbol of growing friendships.
