Catherine Grove: Care Home Development Progress and Community Feedback – December 2025

As you may be aware Boutique Care Homes have purchased the land and buildings at Beech Court, 86 Rectory Road, Deal, CT14 9NB. A detailed planning consent was received for our new care home and 7 retirement bungalows in July 2025.

As some of you may have noticed, we have commenced our early stage works on the site including the tree removals and demolition of the existing buildings and this work will conclude this side of Christmas.

We are in the process of appointing Apex Construction as our main contractor for the works and they will be starting in earnest in the New Year. This will include setting up and preparing the site in January 2026, so they can get going in earnest in February 2026. The works will complete in September 2027, so we are looking to open Catherine Grove Care Home in October 2027 all being well.

We are very keen to keep you all updated on progress with the works and hence we’ve created a dedicated website, www.catherinegrove.care, which will share updates as the works progress and detail any update in the timeline if required.

Apex Construction will also be in touch when they start in the New Year and will share details of their site team contacts so you can get in touch with them if there are any concerns or queries during the course of the works. There is also feedback process on the aforementioned website if you wish to contact us directly.

All at Boutique Care Homes are very excited about the opening of Catherine Grove in Deal.
