About The Great British Care Awards 2025

The Great British Care Awards shine a spotlight on the heroes of the care sector across the United Kingdom. From care workers and managers to innovators and trainers, these awards celebrate those who go above and beyond every day.

With categories covering all areas of care such as residential, home care, older people, specialist services, everyone’s contribution can be recognised. The awards bring together statutory, independent, and voluntary sectors, plus unpaid carers, to celebrate collaboration and dedication.

Recruitment, Retention & Recognition Award – Winner: Diane Collins
Our Home Manager Diane was celebrated for her values-led approach to creating a workplace where people truly thrive. From innovative recruitment campaigns and community partnerships to a culture of growth and recognition, Diane has built an environment where team members feel proud, supported, and celebrated every single day.

Dementia Champion Award – Winner: Jude Coveney
Our Admissions Manager Jude was honoured for her inspiring work to enhance the lives of those living with dementia, both within Chartwell House and across the wider community. From launching the Nostalgia Café to leading the Dementia Friendly Folk Concert and championing dementia-friendly initiatives in Thanet, Jude’s passion continues to create meaningful connections and lasting impact.

These wins shine a spotlight on the heart, innovation and dedication within the Chartwell House family – and we couldn’t be more delighted to see Diane and Jude recognised on a national stage.

As our Founder & Managing Director, Ameet Kotecha, shared: “These awards reflect the hard work, compassion, and commitment our team shows every single day, both to one another and to the residents and families we support.”

Congratulations again to Diane, Jude, and the entire Chartwell House team – what a moment to remember!
