Keymer Hall Announces Partnership with Burgess Hill Town FC
Keymer Hall Care Home is delighted to announce a brand-new partnership with Burgess Hill Town FC, fondly known as the Hillians! This collaboration celebrates two local organisations rooted in community spirit, teamwork, and creating a place where people feel valued and connected.
At Boutique Care Homes, we believe care is about more than just a service – it’s about belonging, shared experiences, and meaningful connections. Partnering with Burgess Hill Town FC allows us to build on this belief, bringing together residents, families, and the wider community with one of Burgess Hill’s most treasured sporting institutions.
About Burgess Hill Town FC
Burgess Hill Town FC, affectionately known as the Hillians, has a proud and colourful history stretching back well over a century. The club has been part of Sussex football since its formative years, when it became a founder member of the Mid-Sussex Football League and won the very first championship. Over the decades, the club has celebrated many successes, including the unique achievement of winning the Sussex Senior Cup three years in a row – earning the right to keep the trophy permanently, which is still proudly displayed at Leylands Park, their home since 1969.
The Hillians went on to secure multiple league and cup titles, enjoyed memorable FA Cup and FA Vase runs, and in 2014/15 celebrated the greatest season in their history, winning the Ryman League Division One South and earning promotion.
Today, under the ownership of David Corney and Vicky Gaffney, the club competes in the Isthmian Premier Division, with major investment underway including a brand-new 3G pitch and upgraded stadium facilities, ensuring a bright future for this proud community club.
Residents at the Heart of the Partnership
As part of this new collaboration, residents at Keymer Hall will be given season tickets to Burgess Hill Town FC matches, giving them the chance to enjoy live football at Leylands Park throughout the year. For many, this will be an opportunity to relive treasured football memories, feel the excitement of a matchday atmosphere, and share the joy with friends, families, and fellow fans.
To celebrate this partnership within the home itself, one of Keymer Hall’s cosy lounges will be renamed The Hillians Snug – a dedicated space for residents to come together, and feel part of the Hillians family.
Promoting Health and Wellbeing
This partnership also complements our Life Enrichment Programme at Keymer Hall, which is designed to support residents’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. Football offers so many natural benefits, from the simple joy of cheering in the stands and singing along with the crowd, to sparking conversations, reminiscence, and shared laughter. Attending games will encourage gentle movement, boost mood, reduce feelings of isolation, and promote a real sense of belonging – all essential elements of living a fulfilling, happy life.
Supporting the Club
Keymer Hall by Boutique Care Homes is proud to support Burgess Hill Town FC in a practical and meaningful way through the sponsorship of Hillians TV.
This platform shares match highlights and behind-the-scenes moments with the wider community via social media channels, ensuring fans can stay connected to the club wherever they are:
This sponsorship reflects our shared values – standing side by side to strengthen community life – and ensures both residents and supporters benefit from the partnership, whether through cheering in the stands or following the action online.
Looking Ahead Together
“We are absolutely thrilled to be part of this,” said Jenna Fowler, Admissions Manager. “Football is about so much more than sport, it’s about belonging and community. Having season tickets means our residents can experience that first-hand, and it links beautifully with our Life Enrichment Programme, which focuses on health, happiness and connection. We’re also proud to support the club with their new sponsored TV. It’s a true partnership, and we can’t wait to see it grow.”
Dave Bradbury, Operations Director at Burgess Hill Town FC, added: “I’ve been part of Burgess Hill Town Football Club since 1994, working behind the scenes for many years before becoming Operations Director. For me, the club has always been about more than football, it’s about people, community, and making sure everyone feels they belong. That’s exactly what Keymer Hall by Boutique Care Homes stands for too, so this partnership feels like such a natural fit. We’re delighted to be working together and look forward to making a positive impact in our community.”
