Keymer Hall Welcomes Its Founding Residents
Monday 8th December 2025 marked a milestone moment for Boutique Care Homes as Keymer Hall officially opened its doors in the heart of Burgess Hill, welcoming its very first residents, Hazle and Danny, into their brand-new home!
In a moment that captured everything we stand for, Hazle proudly cut the ribbon, officially declaring Keymer Hall open. The Keymer Hall team gathered to cheer and celebrate as both founding residents stepped into the Keymer Hall family. The atmosphere was full of excitement, comfort and heartfelt joy.
A Warm Welcome Home
From the moment Hazle and Danny arrived, the Keymer Hall team was ready with friendly faces, helping them settle in, exploring their new surroundings and enjoy those first precious moments at home.
Home Manager Christine Bunce shared her excitement, “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Hazle and Danny as our founding residents here at Keymer Hall. Today marks the beginning of something special, a community built on warmth, connection and personalised care. We couldn’t be more excited to support them as they begin this new chapter with us.”

With 68 spacious en-suite bedrooms, the home features amenities that help residents live life to the fullest which includes a welcoming bistro café, relaxing hair & beauty salon, a bright and creative hobby & activity room, and a beautiful landscaped gardens perfect for peaceful walks and seasonal planting

A Festive First Week at Keymer Hall
Our founding residents have a joyful, festive-themed first week ahead, packed with seasonal activities. The week includes creative pursuits like gingerbread house making, Christmas crafts and card decorating, alongside relaxing experiences such as hand massages and visits to the hair & beauty salon. Residents can enjoy garden tours to plan spring planting, Christmas riddles and brain training, plus social gatherings with mulled wine and mince pies during our Home Open Day on Friday. The week rounds out with a Residents’ Forum to discuss community and charity initiatives, film club, Sunday service, and a lively news quiz – offering something for everyone to enjoy.
Delicious Seasonal Menus
Residents will enjoy comforting meals throughout the week, from warming soups and fresh salads to hearty classics like Cottage Pie, Roast Chicken with Stuffing, Shepherd’s Pie, and Battered Fish with Mushy Peas. Desserts include Banoffee Pie, Spotted Dick with Custard, Berry Cheesecake and Chocolate Brownie.
Our chefs have created a homely, varied menu that celebrates flavour, comfort and choice – making sure every resident can enjoy nutritious, delicious meals each day.
