Red Nose Day 2025 at Boutique Care Homes

Boutique Care Homes celebrated Red Nose Day 2025 with laughter, community spirit and meaningful fundraising across all three homes—proving that joy and care go hand in hand.

At Boutique Care Homes, every day is an opportunity to celebrate joy, community spirit and togetherness—but Red Nose Day gave that joy an extra special twist. Across our homes, residents, families and team members came together in a celebration of laughter and kindness, raising money for Comic Relief while creating heartfelt memories along the way.

The Burlington: The LOL-ympics Begin

The Burlington in Shepperton kicked off the celebrations with its own take on the Olympics—aptly renamed the LOL-ympics. The home was filled with infectious laughter as residents and the team took part in a series of light-hearted challenges and wacky workouts, all while donning their red noses with pride. From exercise bike escapades to playful competitions, the event was a perfect reflection of the home’s uplifting atmosphere and strong sense of togetherness.

“It was such a joy to see everyone come together for something so full of laughter and heart,” said Margie Gonzaga, Home Manager at The Burlington. “Red Nose Day reminds us that giving back can be just as fun as it is meaningful. The laughter we shared was unforgettable.”

Brampton Manor: In the Stocks and Soaked for a Cause

At Brampton Manor in Newmarket, team members showed true dedication to the cause—by stepping into the stocks for a soaking. With wet sponges flying and laughter echoing through the gardens, the residents enjoyed every moment of this cheerful tradition. The event brought together residents, families and team alike in a spirit of light-hearted fun and generosity.

“Our residents absolutely loved it—and so did we,” shared Akhi Goswami, Home Manager at Brampton Manor. “It’s moments like this that make our home so special. The smiles, the giggles, and the shared purpose all remind us why we do what we do.”

Chartwell House: Retro Rhythms and Dancefloor Delights

Down by the coast at Chartwell House in Broadstairs, Red Nose Day took a retro turn. The home came alive with music, movement and a generous dose of nostalgia. With Charlie’s Tunes providing upbeat rhythms, residents stayed energised with freshly made smoothies before taking on a virtual ‘miles challenge’ to Brampton Manor. A spirited quiz and a high-energy Danceathon led by the ever-enthusiastic Laura rounded out the day, making it one to remember.

“The energy throughout the day was incredible,” said Diane Collins, Home Manager at Chartwell House. “Seeing our residents dancing, laughing and coming together in support of such an important cause really captures what life at Chartwell House is all about—joy, connection and belonging.”
