Every town has its quiet heroes. The ones who show up without being asked, who give their time freely, and who make Newmarket a better place simply by being in it. Community Champions is our way of saying: we see you.
At Brampton Manor, we’ve always believed that care doesn’t stop at our front door. It’s woven into the neighbourhood we’re part of, the people we pass on the street, and the volunteers, carers, and helpers who hold this community together every single day.
That’s why we’re proud to launch Community Champions – a monthly initiative celebrating the unsung local heroes of Newmarket.
Every Town Has People Who Deserve More Recognition
Think about the person who organises the litter picks nobody notices. The neighbour who checks in on elderly residents without being asked. The volunteer who turns up every week, rain or shine, without expecting anything in return.
These people rarely make the headlines. They don’t do what they do for thanks. But that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t receive it.
We see this spirit every day in the families and friends connected to Brampton Manor. People who give quietly and consistently, because it’s simply who they are.
How Community Champions Works
Each month, we’re inviting the Newmarket community to ask: who around you deserves a moment of recognition?
Nominate your local legend and, if selected, they’ll receive a fabulous hamper and the public recognition they deserve – because sometimes the best gift you can give someone is letting them know their efforts haven’t gone unnoticed.
It could be:
- The community volunteer who’s been quietly doing good for years
- A local helper whose kindness has made a real difference to someone’s life
- Someone whose dedication to others inspires everyone around them
