Brampton Manor named Top 100 UK Care Home at Lottie Awards 2026
Brampton Manor, part of the Boutique Care Homes group, has been awarded two honours at the Lottie Awards 2026: a place in the UK’s Top 100 Care Homes and a Top 10 Care Expert Choice designation, one of the most selective recognitions in the awards programme.
The Care Expert Choice category identifies homes that Lottie’s team of care advisors would confidently recommend to families searching for a place for a loved one. Being named in the Top 10 places Brampton Manor among a very small number of homes that score at the highest level across every category that matters most to families navigating what is often one of the most difficult decisions they will ever make.
The Lottie Awards, now in their second year, assess care homes listed across England, Scotland and Wales through a data-led review across seven weighted categories: regulatory ratings, enquiry handling, listing media and assets, facilities, activities, listing freshness, and Google reviews. Lottie pairs its own platform data with trusted external sources, including official regulatory ratings, to produce a result that is fair and well-rounded.
Ameet Kotecha, Founder and Managing Director of Boutique Care Homes, said: “Brampton Manor holds a special place in everything we’ve built. It represents what we set out to prove: that a care home can be a genuinely beautiful place to live, where people are cared for as individuals and families feel completely at ease. Two awards from Lottie, including a Care Expert Choice Top 10, is a reflection of the extraordinary team there and what they create for residents every single day.”
Brampton Manor offers residential care and specialised dementia support through Boutique Care Homes’ Nostalgia Care programme, which focuses on the individual behind the memory rather than the condition itself. Care plans are built around each resident’s life history, interests, and personal identity, with the aim of maintaining dignity and a sense of self.
Residents live in a purpose-built environment designed to feel like a high-end home rather than a facility. Amenities include a bistro, piano bar, cinema room, hobby rooms, hair and beauty salon, and landscaped gardens. Dining is fresh and seasonal, curated by chefs working alongside local suppliers.
Alongside its care offering, Brampton Manor runs a Life Enrichment Programme built around six principles: Contribute, Grow, Reflect, Feel, Move, and Connect. The programme brings together activities, community partnerships, and intergenerational projects that keep residents connected to the wider world.
Akhi Goswami, Home Manager at Brampton Manor, added: “This belongs to the whole team. Every member of staff here comes to work because they genuinely care, and that’s not something you can manufacture. Families trust us with the people they love most, and we take that seriously every day. To have that recognised in this way means a great deal to all of us.”
Will Donnelly, Co-Founder and CEO at Lottie, said: “The Lottie Awards are all about celebrating the incredible people and partners who make care truly special. Brampton Manor is a shining example of what great care looks like, and we’re so proud to work alongside them in helping families across the country find the very best care for their loved ones.”
