Free Water Refills at Every Boutique Care Home This Summer

Summer is here, and across every Boutique Care Homes location, we’ve set up something small but genuinely useful for the people around us.

Our Hydration Station is open seven days a week throughout the summer, and it’s open to everyone. If you’re out and about and passing one of our homes, come in and fill up your reusable water bottle. No appointment, no sign-up. Just a friendly welcome and cold, fresh water on a warm day.

Why we’re doing this

At Boutique Care Homes, community has always been part of how we work. Our homes aren’t closed-off facilities, they’re part of the neighbourhoods they sit in, and the people who live nearby matter to us just as much as the people who live with us.

Setting up a Hydration Station felt like the most natural thing in the world. Warm weather catches people out. A short walk can become uncomfortable quickly, particularly for older adults, young children, or anyone on medication that affects how the body regulates temperature. Having somewhere nearby to stop, refill, and take a breath makes a real difference.

Come in any day

Every one of our homes is taking part. You’ll find the Hydration Station available during the day, every day of the week, for as long as the summer lasts. Our teams will be on hand, and you’re welcome to take a moment, say hello, and be on your way.

If you’ve not visited one of our homes before, this is a lovely low-key reason to see what we’re about. There’s no sales pitch waiting for you inside. Just a warm team, a nice environment, and a bottle of cold water with your name on it.

A note for families

If you have an older relative living locally, whether or not they’re a resident with us, please do pass this on. Staying well-hydrated during hot weather is one of the simplest things we can do for our health, and it’s one of the easiest things to let slip. Knowing there’s a reliable place to stop and refill nearby is one less thing to worry about.
