Pumpkin Fest Comes to Keymer Hall This October
Burgess Hill’s families are invited to a very special pumpkin patch this October, as Keymer Hall throws open its doors for an autumn afternoon built for children and their grown-ups.
What’s On
On Wednesday 28th October, the grounds and lounges at Keymer Hall will fill with the sounds of a half-term afternoon well spent. Children can head out to pick their own pumpkin to take home, then settle at the craft table to carve, paint, or decorate it however they like. Drinks and snacks will be on hand throughout, so there’s no rush to be anywhere else.
It’s a deliberately simple event. No tickets, no itinerary to follow, just a few hours of seasonal fun on the doorstep, with Keymer Hall’s team and residents on hand to say hello.
Why Keymer Hall Does This
Keymer Hall has made a habit of inviting Burgess Hill in, through its Keymer Conversations talks, Keymer’s Big BBQ, and now a pumpkin patch built for the youngest members of the community.
“Events like this aren’t about being clever or complicated,” says Christine Bunce, Home Manager at Keymer Hall. “They’re about giving local families a reason to come through the door, meet our residents, and see that a care home can be a warm, lively part of the street it sits on.”
